How EQUAL CARE was named EQUAL CARE?

Nomen est omen” – The name is the sign!

After finally finding the business concept for bringing sex- and gender-specific medicine to a wide audience by labeling products with sex- and gender-medicine inside, I needed to find a name for the concept.

My strategy this time was to maximize the amount of feedbacks and iterations.

  1. Iteration “Gender Equal Label
Most pivoting feedback from My-Hien Peters: So you make sure it works the same for men and women?!?
😮 ohoh that is scientifically a promise that is NOT possible
  2. Iteration “Gender Care Label
Most pivoting feedback Julia Wolfert: When I hear gender in German the whole debate about inclusive language that is very heated comes to my mind!
😧 ohoh no need to step into that complexity as well and evoke negative feelings, I want to evoke trust and transparency
  3. Iteration “Equal Healthcare Label
Most pivotal input by Jeffrey Perlman: If you want to build an inevitable brand you need to own the neuronal connection of the concept with the brand name.
😳 ahhh way to long for a neuronal connection.
  4. Iteration “Equal Care Label
Most pivotal feedback from Jordi Illa: What is this Label doing in the name. You want this to be so much more, right?!?
    🤔 off the Label goes
  5. Iteration “Equal Care
Most pivotal feedback from Philipp Dietrich: I think it would have much more gravitas in capital letters
🤗 I never want it want to see it written differently ever again!!!

    EQUAL CARE

And this was the end of that part of the founder journey.

The whole journey until today has made me so humble to the concept of shut-up-and-listen. I would not be this far, if people hadn’t made the effort and time to give me feedback all along the way.
